Conditions
:
-
Move means unloading a container off the vessel or loading a container on the
vessel irrespective of the size of the container.
-
The annual volume is calculated from 21st of March till 20th of March in the
following year.
-
Calculation of THC for max 6,000 containers per annum is based on the standard
rate however the calculation of the rate for additional volume is based on the
rate indicated in the respective column of the tariff.
-
The Vessels which are originated from any port in Persian Gulf, Oman Sea,
Pakistanis and Salalah ports are not subject to volume discount.
-
This is to be noted that the performance of container owner is to be taken into
consideration for volume discount.
-
The container owner agent, who will collect the THC amount from consignee or
shipper, is to pay the THC invoices.
-
THC for Transship container covers 2 activities i.e. discharge and loading.
-
THC of Empty container is to the account of the container owner or his agent.
-
THC for loading or discharging of the containers of a vessel berthed at
un-containerized berth by the port equipment is subject to 20% increase.
-
THC for loading or discharging the containers of a vessel berthed at
un-containerized berth by the vessel equipment is subject to 30% discount.
-
THC covers also lashing and un-lashing charges (effective from 01.01.2004).
-
THC of Import containers containing Dangerous Cargo is subject to 50% increase.
-
THC of External Transship/Transit container containing Dangerous Cargo is
subject to 20% increase.
-
THC of Transit container to Special Economic/Free zones and Internal Customs is
the same as THC for Import containers.
-
THC of container containing Return Cargo is 85% of THC of Import Container
(effective from 21.05.2004). Other charges related to this type of container
such as stuffing & shifting of container from CFS/transit area to CY is to
the account of consignee.
-
50% additional charge is applicable on top of normal THC for the import/export
containers containing Dangerous Cargo.
-
The containers containing General Cargo but with IMO label on the
container are subject to THC of Dangerous Cargo although the cargo was
manifested as General Cargo (for the safety issues).
-
The containers containing Dangerous Cargo but without IMO label on the
container are subject to fine and all the consequences are to the account of
container owner or his agent even if the cargo is already manifested as
dangerous.
-
USD 400/800 per 20’/40’ is applicable for Mis-declared or undeclared Dangerous
Cargo which is to the account of container owner or his agent who is
responsible for all the consequences in this respect even if IMO label is
already attached to the container.
-
Acceptance of explosive (class 1) and radioactive (class 7) cargoes are subject
to direct delivery only. The containers containing the other Dangerous Cargoes
than indicated above (especially class 3 and 5) can only stay in the port for
the period of 48-72 hours. Otherwise, the port will take action for moving the
containers to other areas and the related charges will be to the account of
cargo owner.
-
No Dangerous Cargo in Reefer/LCL Container is acceptable.
-
Containers containing Out of Gauge Cargo are subject to USD 50 additional
charge on top of applicable THC. However all the Flat rack, Chassis, artificial
Tweendecks containers are subject to above mentioned additional charge. In
gauge open top containers are not subject to additional charge.
-
THC of the overweight container is calculated based on the related tariff with
consideration of time especial equipment was utilized to handle the container.
-
Before the THC invoice being issued, the pre-invoice is available for 48 hours
after departure of the vessel on www.tcts.ir
where the container owner or his agent should visit and confirm that the
figures in the pre-invoice are correct and in agreement with his records. Any
figure in dispute should be reported to Tidewater otherwise it will be assumed
that the container owner or his agent is in agreement with the pre-invoice and
the final invoice will be issued accordingly.
-
75% of THC amount is to the account of PSO and 25% of the same is to the
account of Tidewater which has to be paid directly to their respective bank
accounts.
-
As per the deadline set by PSO, THC of full containers must be settled in 25
days after departure of the vessel (effective from 10.04.2005).
-
As per the deadline set by PSO, THC of empty containers must be settled in 5
days after departure of the vessel (effective from 22.05.2004).
-
Any change in the tariff is subject to approval from the port and the member of
the Port & Shipping Organization (PSO) board.
The container
terminal is operational 24 hours a day, 363 days a year. However no operation
is performed in 2 days of the year as hereunder:
- The First Day of Iranian New Year (21st of March)
- Ashora (10th of Moharam, lunar calendar)
An additional charge of USD 55 per crane per hour is applicable during weekend
and holidays (Over time is considered from 0700 hours of the holiday till 0700
hours of the day after).
The formula for calculation of overtime
charges for Cranes per Day is as hereunder:
Gantry Crane: Total Load and Discharge
Moves divided by 25.
Mobile Crane: Total Load and
Discharge Moves divided by 12.

The containers containing Import cargo which have been idle for more than 30
days in the port, will be moved to the Customs Bounded Dry Ports (such as
Sirjan, Tehran, Isfahan,…) after consideration of the port and the customs, and
the receiver will have to pay all the related charges before clearance of his
cargo from Dry Port after presenting the line or his agent’s delivery order.
The Container containing Reefer, Dangerous and Out of Gauge Cargo are exempted
from this regulation.
